The place is well known to be a social space and freedom of expression1. There are also the famous National Gallery, one of the most important museums in London, or the Anglican Church St Martin-in-the-Fields. It also contains a statue of King Jacques II, dressed as imperator by the sculptor Pierre van Dievoet. At the center of the square are placed two monumental fountains, lit by LEDs of different colors.
